Sarah Wonders Shares 13-Year Journey of Faith on Debut Album “The End of the Matter”
Christian psalmist and songwriter Sarah Wonders has released her debut album, “The End of the Matter,” a deeply personal worship project shaped by 13 years of waiting, prayer, fertility treatment and faith in God.
Released on October 16, 2026, the album documents a journey from waiting and surrender to testimony and fruitfulness. Drawing from Sarah Wonders’ African heritage alongside contemporary Christian and gospel worship influences, the project features songs born from significant moments in her personal journey.
Among the tracks is “Offering,” which emerged from the heartbreak she experienced during her fertility journey. “God Can Be Trusted” began before an IVF egg retrieval and was completed five months into her pregnancy, turning a season of uncertainty into a declaration of trust.
The album also includes “The Battle Has Been Won,” a congregational worship anthem centred on victory through faith.
Reflecting on the experiences behind the project, Sarah Wonders explains that her testimony goes beyond finally receiving what she had prayed for.
“My testimony is not simply that I waited thirteen years and eventually had a child. My testimony is that God sustained me in the waiting. He gave me songs in the waiting. He taught me to trust Him in the waiting.”
That perspective forms the heart of The End of the Matter. Rather than focusing only on the outcome, the album explores what it means to continue worshipping, believing and trusting God while answers are still unfolding.
Sarah Wonders’ music has also received international exposure, including placements on Spotify editorial playlists such as Fresh Gospel Africa, Praise and Worship, Higher, and Naija Worship.
Through The End of the Matter, Sarah Wonders offers encouragement to people experiencing their own seasons of waiting, reminding them to keep believing, worshipping and trusting God through the process.
