David Ezekiel Shares Testimony of Hope in “Nothing You Cannot Do”
Gospel singer and songwriter David Ezekiel has released “Nothing You Cannot Do,” a faith-filled song inspired by his personal journey through grief, restoration and renewed hope in God.
Originally from Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State, David began his musical journey at an early age, serving in the choir and leading songs during moral instruction in primary school. His professional music career began in 2011 with his debut album, Victorious Worship, followed by Here Am I in 2016. He later released singles including “Power in Your Name” and “Beautiful Name” in 2019.
The story behind “Nothing You Cannot Do” is deeply personal. Following the death of his wife from kidney failure in 2019, David experienced a difficult period of grief and emotional pain. His journey through that season eventually strengthened his conviction in God’s ability to restore hope even in circumstances that appear impossible.
That experience forms the foundation of the song’s central declaration: there is nothing God cannot do.
“When I say there is nothing God cannot do, I mean it from the depths of my heart. There is no situation He cannot change. No mountain He cannot move. Nothing is too hard for God to handle.”
Through “Nothing You Cannot Do,” David turns his testimony into a message for people facing their own difficult seasons. The song encourages listeners not to allow present circumstances to define what they believe God can accomplish.
Beyond music, David is the author of four books and founder of Impact Music Network, a UK-based record label. He also founded Youth Alive Foundation, an organisation focused on helping young people discover purpose and pursue their potential.
With “Nothing You Cannot Do,” David Ezekiel offers a personal declaration of faith, reminding listeners that even when hope feels distant, difficult circumstances do not place a limit on God’s power.
