Battleaxe Explores Faith and God’s Silence in New Single “Is God Ever Silent”
Recording artist Battleaxe has released “Is God Ever Silent,” a reflective new song exploring faith, doubt and the difficult moments when answers from God seem distant.
Released on October 21, the song addresses a question many believers encounter during seasons of waiting: Is God truly silent when we cannot see or understand what He is doing?
“Is God Ever Silent” moves from quiet reflection into a more uplifting expression of faith. Through its lyrics and arrangement, Battleaxe explores the tension between unanswered questions and continuing to trust God even when circumstances remain unclear.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, Battleaxe explains that it emerged from periods when answers appeared distant.
“It’s a message of hope, reminding us that even in silence, there is purpose, and divine work is always in motion.”
Rather than presenting doubt as the opposite of faith, the song encourages listeners to bring their questions into their spiritual journey while continuing to trust God through seasons of uncertainty.
Its message speaks particularly to those experiencing waiting, disappointment or moments when prayer appears unanswered. “Is God Ever Silent” offers reassurance that a lack of immediate answers does not necessarily mean God is absent.
Through the new release, Battleaxe invites listeners into reflection while pointing towards hope, patience and continued faith in God.
“Is God Ever Silent” is available to stream and download.

Talk
This is a question, i’ve found myself asking a few times
I’d love to hear your thought on this one
[Verse 1]
There is a question that I have
You might also have this in your mind
Is God ever silent,
Let me know
When we say God is silent,
Do you know
[Chorus]
He’s working always
He loves you so
He’s working always
He loves you much
He’s working always
He loves you so
He’s working always
He loves you much
[Verse 2]
I’ve got some points down in my mind
In my search for answers, what I found
That God is never silent
Now I know
When you feel He’s silent
You should know
[Chorus]
He is working always
He loves you so
He’s working always
He loves you much
[Bridge]
Are you ready for His answer
Are you sensitive enough
Do you know when and how He responds
The plans that he has for your life
In His time
When you answer these questions
you’ll see:
[Chorus]
He’s working always
He loves you so
He’s working always
He loves you much
He’s working always
He loves you so
He’s working always
He loves you much
He’s working always
He loves you so
He’s working always
He loves you much
He’s working always
He loves you so
He’s working always
He loves you much
He’s working always
He loves you so
My God loves you much.
