Gospel powerhouse Tasha Cobbs Leonard is back and she’s topping charts while sharing one of the most vulnerable testimonies of her music career.
Her newly released album, simply titled “TASHA”, has made a stunning debut, landing at: Billboard Top 1 Gospel Album, #1 Current Gospel Album, #1 Top Christian/Gospel Album
But while fans are celebrating this massive win, many are just now learning that Tasha was ready to hang up her music hat before this release.
In a deeply emotional Instagram post, she revealed that she had been seriously considering retiring from music, convinced her season had passed.
“I was literally planning to retire my music hat… I had made peace with quietly stepping into other things,” she wrote.
But in a divine twist, she said God reminded her that “purpose doesn’t expire.” That reminder birthed TASHA an album that has already impacted lives across the world with powerful messages of grace, healing, and identitTasha expressed overwhelming gratitude to God and to every supporter of the album, saying:
“Your love has breathed life in ways I can’t even explain. My heart is full, and my mind is blown.”
