The Gospel Groove Talent Quest (GGTQ) has just concluded its first season, crowning the exceptionally talented singer Labisi Esther as the winner. Under the banner of EeZee Global, Labisi has released her debut single titled “Olodumare.”
This single was recorded live during her remarkable performance at the Grand Finale of GGTQ season one. “Olodumare” is a Yoruba praise song that exalts the name of God, recognizing Him as the supreme King and sovereign ruler of Zion.
Labisi’s victory in the competition comes with a grand prize package, which includes a 3-year recording contract valued at a staggering 300 Million Naira, a brand-new car, a luxurious apartment, and a cash reward of 10 million Naira.
The competition also recognized other outstanding contestants, with Love securing the second-place position, and Asaph Idonuagbe and Ibukun Adelagan claiming third and fourth place, respectively.
Labisi Esther is not only an incredible singer but also a gifted songwriter. She pursued her education in Theatre Arts and Performance at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Interestingly, she is also related to the famous singing sisters, the Akinpelu Girls.
