Omoniyi Joseph Akomolafe is a Nigerian-born gospel artist who over the years has remained very consistent in the gospel and entertainment industry. Elgibbor Niyi as he is popularly known has grown from being just a recording artist to one of the top influencers in the Nigerian gospel industry. Elgibbor finally drops the video Smile Again from his 2010 album with the same album name. Omoniyi Akomolafe said he decided to release this video on his birthday so that it blesses many people that are going through one pain or the other, he said ” I wrote this song in the place of pain and obscurity in my life”
Elgibbor Niyi is currently working on his 6th studio album with the title CARRIER, which will be dropping in the first quarter of 2022.
