Johnson Olajide Peter, otherwise known as Jhiedy was born
January 24th 1985 in Mushin Lagos Nigeria, he is the first son of four children
of Mr and Mrs Paul Oluwaseyi and Elizabeth Oluwatoyin Johnson. The dark skinned
R&B Gospel crooner hails from Badagary Local Government Area (LGA) in Lagos
State. He attended Estate Primary School in Papa Ajao Mushin and later on went
to Ransome Kuti Memorial Grammar School at Empire in Surulere where he obtained
his Senior Secondary school certificate. He started a National Diploma program
in business studies at Lagos State Polytechnic (Laspotech) but later dropped
out during the course because of Financial challenges and he pursued his dream
of becoming one of the most formidable vocals in the Gospel World.

Jhiedy started singing at a tender age and believes he is
destined to become a mega gospel super star, after many years of being inspired
by music greats like Marvin Sapp, Don Moen, R-Kelly, Micheal W Smith and a few
others he started writing his own songs and lacing lyrics to beats. In no time
his insatiable and unquenchable passion for God, in his resolves to fulfill his
dreams and a platform to express his God given talent and realize his dreams,
he joined a Christ Embassy Church choir where he ministered as a back up
vocalist and from there became the lead Praise and Worship leader thus gained
more exposure to music.
