Izzy is a US based Nigerian hip hop artiste. Here is his
version of Praiseworld Bars – 16 bars with the theme JESUS. He jumps on the
beat with an easy feel whilst inserting some melody into it. Let’s know what

Praiseworld Bars is a hip hop initiative hosted by
Praiseworld Radio. The theme for this season is “JESUS”. Each participating
rapper is expected to jump on the same beat, with lyrics about the theme
(JESUS) in 16bars ONLY.

LET’S MEET IZZY

The U.S-based Nigerian, a multi-talented producer and Gospel
recording artist by the name Israel Toluwani 
Odebode (Stage Name: IZZY)…sometimes called Izzybeatz, was born on the
19th of December. IZZY had loved music since he was 7 years. He started with
playing the drum set and then keyboard, not until he found himself doing some
little production and stepping up his game in the music industry.

He was a praise and worship leader in his church back in
Nigeria: Assemblies of God Church, Ibadan, and is actively involved in the
musical band of his present church in the USA, where he is the music director
till date.

This Gospel artist is gradually making waves in the Nigerian
Gospel music scene. He is presently signed to a U.S record label: THAVMA
RECORDS owned and by his elder brother Iyanu Odebode and co-owned by Izzy.

This young man has been into music for close to 9 years now,
and God is really helping him to push his music career forward. Nevertheless,
he still takes his academics twice as serious.

Izzy recently released his album on May 19th, 2013. The
album titled “MY DESIRE” is currently receiving rave reviews and massive
airplays on radio stations, online radios, websites, blogs and several media
outfits across the globe, in countries like Nigeria, Kenya, Brazil, France, U.K
and The Unites States.

The album contains hit singles which were premiered earlier
this year. Singles like “Mukulu Mukeke”, “Victory”, and “All of my life”, to
mention a few.

Izzy also bagged two nominations this year 2013: First was
the Nigeria Gospel Music Awards under the “Best Male Artist in Diaspora”
category and second was the Nigeria Gospel Music Video Awards where his hit
single “Mukulu mukeke” Video was nominated as Best Male Video in Diaspora.

The Nigeria Gospel Music Awards (NGMA) nominee also released
a single in September 2013, titled “Wonder” that featured Nigeria’s Gospel
rapper “Provabs”, currently receiving massive audience and blessing lives.

The fast rising afro-gospel artiste, Izzy has truly been a
blessing to the Nigerian gospel music industry and he always ascribes all the
thanks to God who has made this possible. It is evident that God has been using
him as a vessel to impact lives positively.
