AY Praise is from Ekiti State. He attended Lagos State Polytechnic where he studied Banking and Finance.
He started his music career at Christ Apostolic Chruch Grace Tabernacle, Zonal Headquarters, Ijesha-Tedo Lagos.
Currently, he is the Music Director at Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Oasis of Life Parish and as well the Youth Choir Coordinator of RCCG Lagos Province 34.
