1. Background

Gift Ugochi Christopher (well known by his stage name Minister GUC) is a young, vibrant and anointed gospel singer who hails from Rivers State in Nigeria. Born into a Christian home on October 8, 1993, the young lad grew to become a lover of music.

As a teenager, he joined the choir unit in his local church due to his love for God and worship songs.  He attended the University of Port Harcourt (UniPort), Rivers state, where he studied Philosophy.

2. Minister GUC Journey into Music

Young GUC loved singing in the choir unit of his local church, and that was where it all began. His degree in Philosophy didn’t take away from him his God giving talent. His earliest passion for music started with a group of friends in Port Harcourt, and as time rolled by, he got signed into a record label, EeZee Conceptz, in November 2019 with other renowned gospel artiste like Mercy Chinwo and a few others.

By December 2020, the phenomenal gospel artiste and songwriter released his first ever album titled “The Message” which gained recognition far and wide. His hit track “All that matters” became a frequent song in churches and other Christian gatherings.

With this album out on sale, the young gospel artiste became officially recognized both locally and internationally as believers, both young and old, look forward to hosting this anointed gospel minister, who brings powerful and spirit-filled sound from the throne of heaven.

In the year 2020, due to the impact his song had on both young and old, he was nominated to receive an award in the upcoming Maranatha awards USA Awards.

  This internationally recognized gospel minister has proven with his life that God can send a message to this generation just as He did in the times of old. His songs are filled with timely messages pointing this generation back to God.
