Nikki Laoye Kicks off radio show

Sensational Gospel artiste, Nikki Laoye blazes a new trail with
her own radio show, “GIRLS ROCK! WITH NIKKI LAOYE”, on Nigeria’s 1st
Online Gospel Radio Station, PraiseWorld Radio.

GIRLS ROCK!!!  WITH
NIKKI LAOYE is a 2 hour weekly radio show, dedicated to projecting the impact
being made by young women of faith in the world of Entertainment, Arts &
Business with major emphasis on Nigeria, as well as references from the African
and International scene.

Created by Nikki Laoye, GIRLS ROCK!!! is a fresh and catchy
show, targeted at a general audience of men and women, simply to further
encourage, promote and showcase the achievements of young women.

The show intends to primarily promote music by unsigned and
established female gospel & inspirational artistes in Nigeria; showcase
young women in business by promoting small scale business ideas developed by
women in Nigeria and also tackle issues on Life, Relationships etc on a
discussion platform – “GIRL TALK” – 
for interaction by men and women alike.

In her words, “The show is my support to the
PraiseWorld Radio brand, Nigeria’s 1st Online gospel radio station, set up
solely by an amazing young man, with vast listeners from Nigeria, Europe and
even Asia. Very impressive, I must say and its high time we all learn to
support innovative ideas especially in the Christian community. GIRLS ROCK!! is
actually a program long overdue. Lots of women are doing great works out there
but no one is giving them the recognition and support they deserve and that’s
what the show is primarily about.

Also everyone needs a listening ear, people are going
through different challenges everyday and with the show, a discussion platform
for interaction and exchange of ideas will be available as well.

Unknown to many, Nikki Laoye is not new to the world of
broadcasting. A year before her music debut in 2006, Nikki hosted a tv
show  – NEW BREEZE SHOW, on Silverbird Television,.
The show was an entertainment based show for teenagers and youths, creating a
platform for interaction between celebrities and youths via interviews and
hang-out programs. Nikki interviewed celebrities including PSquare, Ebuka (of
BigBrother Nigeria fame), Kaffy and many more during the show’s running season.

And now Nikki makes a comeback with GIRLS ROCK!!

The show will run every Thursday, 5pm-7pm on the platform of
Online Gospel Radio Station, PraiseWorld Radio.
