Meet Alheri Tanimu Shehu ( Alheri Muzika), a vibrant voice in contemporary and indigenous gospel music, hailing from the culturally rich Kauru Local Government in Southern Kaduna region of Nigeria.
Her sound is deeply inspired by her childhood memories, where soulful gatherings in her local community were brought to life by the resonant rhythms of the shantu, a tall, hollow
gourd percussion instrument played by women.
Today, Alheri channels that same spirit through her unique musical style, blending tradition with modern gospel to glorify the name of the Lord and touch hearts across generations.
Her debut album, “Take My Heart”, was released in 2017, followed by singles such as “Cheri”, and the about to release album, “Alkadiru”.
Beyond her musical journey, Alheri is also a dedicated nurse who finds fulfillment in saving lives
