Rising gospel music minister Mavicma Styles is stepping into the spotlight with the release of her debut track, I HAVE A FRIEND — a powerful song that reminds listeners of the constant friendship and comforting presence of Jesus Christ, especially in seasons of loneliness and uncertainty.
Mavicma’s musical journey began in her teenage years, inspired by a deep love for singing and dancing. A turning point came during a visit to her General Overseer’s residence, where she was captivated by the sound of her Mummy G.O playing the keyboard. That sacred moment awakened a divine calling to use her gift for soul-winning and ministry.
Since 2001, Mavicma has been receiving songs from the Lord, carefully writing them down in notebooks and sheets—now cherished archives on her bookshelf. Though time and life caused some melodies to fade, a heartfelt encounter with the Holy Spirit reignited her passion and called her back to her purpose in music ministry.
With I HAVE A FRIEND, Mavicma Styles begins a new chapter of obedience and purpose. The track is just the beginning of a larger vision—she currently has thirteen more unreleased songs, each carrying a message of faith, hope, and divine love.
