Abuja-based singer, songwriter, and minister Alice Peters has released her latest single, “Resurrection Power,” a powerful praise and worship song that exalts the miraculous power of God. Drawing inspiration from scripture and her faith, Alice seeks to create an atmosphere of worship with her unique melodies and lyrics, singing in English, Igbo, and Yoruba.
The song was first birthed in a dream by Obinna Credo Michaels in the second quarter of 2024. He awoke from the dream and recorded the melody on his phone before reworking the lyrics later that same day. The collaboration took shape when it was brought to a digital studio in August 2024 for Alice Peters to record, with her making lyrical contributions to the track.
“Resurrection Power” celebrates God’s power, highlighting miracles from the Bible and the transformational impact of God’s resurrection. The song carries a deep message of faith and divine power, reminding listeners of the miracles that continue to resonate today.
