Like a lion, He fights for us and like a lamb, He is a bastion, our fortress. We are the sheep and He is our shepherd who gives us succour in times of tribulations. He is a consuming fire, yet He is around us, making us calm as still waters.
And sometimes in our walk with God , we are down-heated and in low spirits, due to loss of loved ones, our jobs and material things, we get weighed down. When temptations come our way and at the brink of losing faith, fearful and doubtful, He shows up as our pillar and refuge even as much as he expects us to always surrender all to Him.” Bukunmi
