Saint Reuben Okala hails from omala local govt of kogi state. Started playing music several years ago under the tutelage of late Tom Abah. He started as a drummer at the makurdi christian centre and later grew to be the first music director of the church.
Saint Reuben Okala is presently a member and Chairman of the think tank committee of the Fellowship of Gospel Music Minister of Nigeria FOGMMON with Veteran Gospel music Maestro Asu Ekiye As the National President and Dr. Panam Percy Paul as Chairman Board of Trustees.
St. Reuben has written several songs including the popular “He is everywhere”
A veteran Broadcaster, St. R just retired from the Nigerian Television Authority NTA, Saint Reuben Okala has travelled round the world covering International Events for NTA. He is now the general manager of Agric business television Abuja. He is presently the National Secretary of the Christian media Fellowship practitioners in Nigeria.
A Jerusalem Pilgrim, JP, he has travelled to Israel several times.
Saint Reuben Okala is married to Barrister Patience AJUMA Okala and they are blessed with Israel, Olive and David.
